The people were starving. They came to Ceres and implored her to bring back plenty, and save their lives. Ceres lifted her face, weary with ceaseless wandering, and said, “I cannot take care of the earth until I get back my lost daughter.”
So the people thought of praying to Jupiter who was the king of the gods. And to Jupiter they sent their prayer to bring Proserpine back to her mother. They were sadly in need of Ceres’s help.

My Favourite Subject
My favourite subject is Math. At first I was inspired by my brother. Now he is studying in ISI. If anyone ask me why I love mathematics, I will give him two reasons. The first one is I love to play with numbers, and the second one is I like to do calculation. Solving a hard mathematics can provide us a different level of satisfaction. When I was in class 6 I spent almost a day to solve a problem, and it gives a huge satisfaction. I will recommend all of you to study K.C Nag, N.G Das to grow your interest on Mathematics.
